Who and what is behind this site
About Motion and HeartThe original idea behind the Motion and Heart was set up in 1997, by Neil Taylor. At this stage the internet was still young, and most fans had been kept up to date with news on Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark, by the likes of the Fan Club, and in latter years Fan Zines.
As the last official fan club started to close, Neil decided to set up a web site for fans that grew over many years. A number of changes and looks have taken place over all of these years, but in 2009 a new look, a new domain, was set up.
In the past Neil had been working very much alone, but he knew that for a OMD fan site the ideal would be to have a number of contributors on board, that would help to add even more content to the site.
