(forever) Live and Die 26/08/86 (Forever) Live and Die

(Forever) Live and Die

The first single from the album “The Pacific Age”

(Forever) Live And Die also made No. 18 in the US charts and was a top 5 hit in Germany, Belgium, Holland and Canada.

"Andy had gone away for a few days" said Paul Humphreys "and I decided to go into the studio and I threw down a track that needed a lead vocal on it, so I did it myself. Had Andy been there he would have sang the lead on it".

This was OMD's first digital recording and the Fairlight keyboard had to be converted for MIDI use.
